I don’t usually right reviews but this place really went above and beyond. The owner was the most wonderful host, who was so passionate about the food and wine being served really nice to see and interesting to learn about . The food was absolutely spectacular 10/10. What a unique experience couldn’t recommend more!!!

Four of us visited this wonderful restaurant at the end of the season on a quiet Tuesday evening. When we asked for a meal recommendation, we were offered the opportunity to do a tasting of sorts with a selection of specialties and wine. What followed was truly top-class. From the variety of starters to dessert, one highlight followed the next. I, or rather we, can only warmly recommend AD VITAE LA CHIESINA. The location in an old church naturally contributes to the overall fantastic dining experience. The service was very good, with heart and expertise. All in all, a fantastic restaurant that is definitely worth a visit.

We had a truly wonderful experience! The food was exceptional, with creative and inspiring dishes that went far beyond the ordinary. What made the evening even more special was the passion of the host, who guided us through a journey of carefully selected wines that perfectly complemented each course. The balance between price and quality was outstanding, easily a 6 out of 5. We’ll definitely be coming back!

After a magical afternoon at Il Giardino dei Tarocchi, we found ourselves at this very special restaurant! Here, you get more than a meal, you get an extraordinary experience, a culinary and cultural journey that you will never forget. Daniele is a most gracious and generous host, who explained the menu and the wines with deep knowledge and passion. The food was incredible, featuring local ingredients and local recipes you won't find anywhere else. The wine selection was superb. The lamb shank melted in our mouths, and the tortello with sea bass roe was a taste of the real Maremma. Daniele kindly offered to make our 8 year old son a hamburger, but he decided to try the tortello with local wild rabbit ragú and he loved it. If you are a visitor to the area of Orbetello you absolutely must try this place, and if you live in the region, if I were you, I would come back again and again. Thank you to everyone at Ad Vitae La Chiesina for one of the best meals of my life.

positive and warm service, however expect it to slow down a bit later in the evening when the place is full. interesting, good quality food beyond usual regional menu. country side, by the road vibe, mostly Italian crowd. best out 10ish places we visited in the region

If we could give 10 stars, we would! Our stay was truly special and will remain a wonderful memory forever. Not only were the food and wine selection perfect, but also, and above all, the treatment we received from the owner of the restaurant. We have rarely felt so comfortable. You can tell that the owner is genuinely interested in providing an unparalleled Italian experience and carries out his work with great passion and an attitude that is not profit-oriented, but rather based on generosity and warmth. We are very grateful and will definitely be back.
